Small microcontroller (MCU) controlled switch for RC models.

It is easily operated with a single button, which eliminates the problems associated with intermittent contact of a conventional mechanical switch. The switch is plastic and can be easily attached to the transponder holder of your RC model or to a desired location (e.g. using double-sided tape). Two types of bottom covers are included in the package. The switch also has a LiPo mode. When turned on, the switch automatically detects low voltage of LiPo batteries and turns off the power to protect your LiPo battery from overdischarge. (This function can of course be turned off if you have other safety measures in place or are using NiMH/NiCad batteries). The switch informs you with LEDs and the current battery status and capacity.

Setting the switch for NiMH/NiCad batteries

• To turn on, press and hold the button on the switch for approx. one second.
• The LED (PWR) will light up.
• To turn off, press and hold the button until all LEDs are off.
• The LED (PWR) displays the remaining battery capacity after power on.

Setting the power switch for LiPo batteries

• To turn on, press and hold the button for more than three seconds.
• The PWR and LIPO LEDs will light up.
• To turn off, press and hold the button until all LEDs are off.
• The LED (PWR) displays the remaining battery capacity after power on.
