Microballoons serve as a lightening filler for epoxy (laminate) resins. The mixed mixture can be used for caulking or filling larger joints where a large amount of resin would otherwise be required. Microballoons are mixed into the already mixed epoxy (resin) in a volume ratio of approximately 3:1.
Please note that after mixing microballoons, the processing time of the laminating epoxy or epoxy adhesives is reduced by approximately 25%!
Mixing microballoons into the epoxy saves resin consumption, reduces the resulting weight, and the epoxy with microballoons usually has higher strength.
After mixing with the laminating agent Aeroepoxy, an easily sandable and very strong surface of any shape is created - it is a suitable alternative to glass fabrics, which are difficult to use for complex shapes.
