SKY RC S65 65W is a small, universal, mains-powered charger with easy operation for home charging of all types of batteries. The S65 allows you to charge and discharge common cell types (NiCd, NiMH, Li-Pol, Li-ion, Li-Fe, LiHV, Pb), and is also equipped with a built-in four-channel balancer, which ensures very safe and comfortable charging of lithium batteries.

It differs from ordinary 50W chargers with its truly intelligent software, which enables functions previously common in "machines" of much higher price categories:

• Setting the final voltage for charging and discharging for lithium batteries (allows for more gentle charging, which pilots like, or, conversely, brutal overcharging, which "car enthusiasts" adore)
• Measuring the total voltage and voltage of individual cells (for lithium batteries) even outside of charging/discharging
• Measuring the internal resistance of the entire set and individual cells (for lithium batteries)
• Program for charging lead-acid AGM batteries and charging lead-acid batteries at low temperatures

The charger is equipped with an XT60 output socket and a universal socket for JST-XH service connectors, allowing you to directly connect the battery power cables and JST-XH service connectors of 2-6S kits - if you use kits with XT60 and JST-XH connectors, you can do without charging cables and adapters. To connect service connectors of other systems, you can use standard Sky RC or RC System adapters, in which you cut off part of the output connector with contacts for the 5th and 6th channels.

In the charger software, you can choose whether a balancer will be used during charging/discharging or not. If you choose to use a balancer and connect the charged lithium kit via a service connector, you can monitor the voltage on individual cells during the entire charging or discharging process, and the built-in balancer balances the voltage on individual cells. The charger is equipped with a socket for JST-XH service connectors. You can purchase a temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the batteries being charged/discharged.

Note: When charging lead-acid batteries, the charger uses a final voltage of 2.40 V/cell (or 2.46 V/cell in the AGM battery program and in the cold charging program) - for this reason, it is suitable for charging classic lead-acid batteries (car batteries) and gel batteries. It is not suitable for charging gas-tight gel batteries, which must not be charged to more than 2.30 V/cell.
