RC car model kits from the Japanese brand Tamiya are renowned for their superior qualities. Thanks to highly clear assembly instructions and a well-organized system where parts are sorted into labeled bags, even a complete beginner can successfully build a Tamiya car. While the base chassis included in the kit typically offers excellent handling characteristics, every Tamiya kit also provides extensive opportunities for tuning and upgrades. Building a Tamiya RC model yourself offers a unique and rewarding experience. For children and young people, it serves as an excellent way to learn about the construction of a real automobile.

The Tamiya TT-02 chassis is a low-ground-clearance, on-road platform. It features a 4WD drivetrain, utilizing a central driveshaft (propeller shaft) to connect the front and rear axle differentials. Stability is optimized by positioning the battery pack longitudinally alongside the central driveshaft. The motor is located ahead of the rear axle, further enhancing the vehicle's handling performance.

A special feature of this particular kit is that it allows for the construction of a high-end drift car. In addition to drift-specific wheels, the kit includes high-quality CVA oil-filled shock absorbers, a Tamiya Sport-Tuned motor, an aluminum motor heat sink, and a full set of ball bearings. The result is a model well-suited even for an aspiring racer. Scale: 1/10

Note: The ESC is not water-resistant or snow-resistant; we recommend using Nanoprotech Electric spray (3890000.04).

ATTENTION! This RC car is not a toy; it is a sophisticated, functional model that behaves very much like a real vehicle. Due to its realistic performance characteristics, improper assembly or operation could result in injury to yourself or bystanders, or cause property damage. The model is intended for use in large indoor spaces or outdoors on a solid, dry surface. It should not be driven in water or tall grass, as this may cause damage. It must not be operated on public roads or in areas with vehicular traffic (e.g., parking lots). Thick, high-pile carpets are also unsuitable surfaces. This model requires regular maintenance.
