Quick Start Guide:
Charge the drive battery by connecting it to the charging adapter and plugging it into a power source. If the model is equipped with a charging port, you do not need to remove the battery; it can be charged while inside the model. Insert the required number of AA batteries into the transmitter (via the compartment door on the back). Place the charged drive battery into the tank and connect it to the power connector. Turn on the transmitter first, then turn on the model. On the transmitter, press the start button or toggle the start lever (depending on the transmitter version). A startup sound will play, and after a short delay (approximately 20–30 seconds), the model will be ready to operate. The left stick controls the rotation of the turret (left/right). Moving the left stick forward or backward controls the elevation/depression of the cannon and firing the cannon. For the BB-firing version of the tank—depending on the specific transmitter—you may need to hold down a safety button located on the top of the transmitter while firing the cannon. The right stick provides proportional control for the model's movement (forward, backward, turning left/right). Depending on the transmitter version, function buttons or switches are used to control sound volume, machine gun fire, cannon fire (press the top-right button while pushing the left stick forward), engine start/stop, and the sound set. After finishing your session, always turn the model OFF first, followed by the transmitter. Always recharge the battery before storing the unit. If the battery will not be used for an extended period, it must be checked and recharged periodically.

Explanation of abbreviations:
The BB version model is equipped with a mechanism for firing 6mm plastic BBs; for safety reasons, this is typically locked.
The IR version model features a flash unit in the cannon barrel and a recoil mechanism; it also supports the connection of an IR combat module (sold separately as an accessory, cat. no. 5038188.43).
The IR+BB version model includes a mechanism for firing 6mm plastic BBs (typically locked for safety reasons) and supports an IR combat module (included in the set). However, it does not feature a functional cannon recoil mechanism.
RTR – "Ready-to-Run" (or Ready-to-Drive); the set includes the model and the transmitter (usually also a battery pack and a charging adapter).
BS – The model includes a "Battle System," consisting of an infrared "cannon" and a hit sensor. It is designed for simulating tank battles. A strong source of IR radiation (such as the sun) may interfere with the operation of the IR combat module.
PRO models feature various combinations of upgraded components, such as metal tracks, a metal lower hull, improved gearboxes, or enhanced electronics.

ATTENTION! This RC tank is not a toy; it is a sophisticated, functional model that behaves very much like a real tank. Due to its realistic characteristics, improper assembly or operation could result in injury to yourself or bystanders, or cause damage to property. If using the BB version (which fires 6mm plastic pellets), always adhere to basic safety rules. Never leave the model unattended by an adult when children under the age of 14 are present. If the firing mechanism is enabled, both the operator and any bystanders must wear protective eyewear. A fired pellet can ricochet and cause eye injury! Never aim at or fire toward people or animals! Always check the target area before firing. Never look (and ensure no bystanders look) into the tank's barrel while the firing mechanism is enabled—even if you believe the magazine is empty. The user of the model—not the manufacturer or the retailer—bears full responsibility for any damage or injuries caused!

The model is intended for use indoors or outdoors on a suitable, dry surface. The unit is neither waterproof nor water-resistant; under no circumstances should it be operated in water or snow (which turns into water when it melts). It is capable of traversing concrete, asphalt, firm dirt, gravel, sand, thick mud, and wet surfaces (such as very shallow puddles). Please be aware that small stones, dirt, or other debris accumulating within the undercarriage components can cause the tracks to break or damage the drive system. Operating the model on grass is not recommended, as it risks overloading and burning out the motors, or damaging the electronics—damage which is not covered by the warranty. Thick, high-pile carpets are also unsuitable surfaces. Operation on public roads or in other areas with vehicular traffic (such as parking lots) is strictly prohibited.
During operation, the tracks may slip off due to the accumulation of debris within the drive system, or as a result of frictional forces—particularly when turning on surfaces with high traction. The tracks slipping off or breaking is a common occurrence with this type of tank model and does not constitute a manufacturing defect eligible for a warranty claim. Regular maintenance of the model is recommended.
This model is intended for hobbyists aged 14 and older.

The warranty period is 24 months and covers manufacturing defects discovered during the initial test run or appearing shortly after the model is put into operation. The warranty does not cover wear and tear of functional parts resulting from the operation and use of the model. The extent of operational wear is not strictly defined and may vary between metal and plastic components. Furthermore, the warranty does not cover damage caused by impacts, overloading of mechanical or electronic components, incorrect wiring, overheating, exposure to moisture, or neglected maintenance.

Our test: This model from the Chinese manufacturer Heng Long (marketed under brands such as Torro, Amewi, or others) ranks among the manufacturer's best products, even in its base version. It is equipped with the new 5th-generation multi-function unit (MFU), the HL.TK-7.0, which integrates a receiver, a sound module, and a control mixer for the model's movement. Compared to the previous version, this represents a significant improvement across all MFU functions. The model's movement characteristics, sound effects, and lighting have seen noticeable enhancements. Notably, the engine sound no longer feels distinctly "toy-like." The model is operated via a standard "tank-style" transmitter. A clever touch from the manufacturer: the inside of the battery compartment door features a "cheat sheet" with instructions for operating the various functions. The model is equipped with an IR module, allowing for tank-on-tank battles. The sensor "mushroom" connects via a cable hidden under a hatch; it simply sits on top of the turret, held in place by a magnet. A clear chart is provided, explaining the function of each control stick. Another improvement is that the manufacturer has replaced the outdated Tamiya-style battery connector with a modern XT-60 connector. The inclusion of a Li-Ion battery as standard is also a welcome touch. The only downside is the included USB "charger"—while it does the job, I recommend discarding it in favor of a high-quality, programmable hobby-grade charger. Once unboxed, the model requires some "finishing" work, involving the attachment of numerous external plastic and metal details. The end result is a truly striking and beautiful model of this tank! The manufacturer has cleverly positioned the battery compartment in front of the turret, meaning there is no need to disassemble the model or flip it upside down to swap batteries. It is slightly inconvenient, however, that you must rotate the turret to the side and—more importantly—locate the battery compartment latch, which is hidden beneath the driver's hatch. The power switch is also cleverly concealed under the driver's hatch. In my final assessment, this model ranks among the best RC tanks currently on the market. To temper expectations, I should note that the electronics do not quite reach the level of Japan’s Tamiya or Germany’s Elmod systems; nevertheless, it is currently the best MFU (Multi-Function Unit) of Chinese origin. If you are a beginner in RC tank modeling, this electronics setup is more than sufficient and will certainly bring you enjoyment.
However, if you are a more demanding modeler—or a fan of high-quality tank models—we recommend replacing this Chinese electronics system entirely with the German-made Elmod Fusion X, paired with a Carson Reflex 6-channel transmitter. With this German electronics system, your model will reach an even higher, more realistic level.
