Gear differential putty is used to regulate the stiffness of the planetary differential often used in RC model cars. When high viscosity oils are not enough to achieve the desired differential effect, the use of sealant can be very useful. The material in this package comes in a roll that can be easily removed from the plastic case, cut into smaller pieces with scissors and inserted into the differential. You can process pieces of the appropriate size between your fingers and then press them into the teeth of the individual differential gears.
You will achieve a very stiff differential, close to locked in stiffness.
