Powerful and fast programmable digital micro servo with titanium gears and output shaft mounted on two ball bearings for use in RC models of all types. Thanks to the flat box with a height of 12 mm, it is particularly suitable for controlling ailerons and flaps in fast RC glider/hotliner models with thinner wing profiles. For perfect cooling even under high loads, the servo is housed in a box with an aluminum middle part.
With the help of the USB programmer/interface for GO servos and the operating PC program, you can program a whole range of servo parameters (deflection size, deflection direction neutral, overload protection, soft start, fail-safe, etc.).
Programmable functions
Deflection size: Used to set the maximum servo deflection size. The default setting is approx. 120° for the common range of control pulse widths (900~2100 µs); approx. 180° at the maximum allowed range of control pulse width (500~2500 µs).
Servo Neutral: Used to set the neutral (center) position of the servo.
Damping: Sets the characteristic of the servo behavior when stopping its movement.
Output Power: Sets the output power of the servo. The higher the value, the faster the servo is and the higher its thrust - of course, the current consumption will be proportionally higher. Range: 39.2~100%
Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity (width of the dead band) of the servo. The higher the value, the narrower the dead band - the servo will only move if the change in the width of the control signal is greater than the width of the dead band. A sensitivity value set too high can cause servo oscillation in some applications. Range: Ultra High (Extra high - deadband approx. 1 µs) - High (High - approx. 2 µs) - Medium (Medium - approx. 3 µs) - Low (Low - approx. 4 µs)
Soft start: Turns on/off the soft start function. This function prevents the servo from running too fast into the operating position after powering on, reducing the risk of damage to its gears.
Reverse direction of deflections: Reverses the direction of the servo deflections.
FUTABA SR mode: Only for use with FUTABA RC channels operating in SR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using a different FUTABA RC set or an RC set of any other brand.
SANWA SSR mode: Only for use with SANWA RC channels operating in SSR mode. Do not enable this option if you are using a different SANWA RC set or an RC set of any other brand.
Fail-safe emergency deflections: In the event of a complete loss of control signal from the receiver or if the servo cannot detect the signal correctly (e.g. due to interference), the servo can enter one of three emergency modes:
(a) Free: Fail-safe is disabled.
(b) Position hold: The servo maintains the position corresponding to the last correctly received signal.
(c) Neutral return: The servo returns to the neutral (pulse width 1500 µs) position.
Overload protection: Enables or disables the servo overload protection in three levels - once the overload lasts for a preset time (in seconds), the servo output power is limited to the corresponding preset value (in % of max. power).
Reset: Restores the connected servo to its factory default settings.
Extended supply voltage 4.8-7.4 V (nominal).
