Tio Marine50 is a new electronic speed controller for DC (brushed) motors designed specifically for use in RC boats. It allows the use of Li Pol batteries, as well as NiCd/NiMH/Lead Acid, which are commonly used. It has a motor limit of 50 A, which means that you can use any DC (brushed) motor as long as the current drawn by this motor does not exceed 50 amps under load (underwater). Tio Marine ESCs are also equipped with a new 4-quadrant control system that completely stops the motor before it rotates in the opposite direction. This allows for perfectly symmetrical operation around the neutral position in both directions, allowing the modeler to achieve perfect slow control in all situations. Another feature of the tio Marine controllers is the ability to turn reverse on or off. This is done simply by pressing the setting button, allowing you to use the controller in forward and reverse or forward mode.
The Marine50 is an excellent choice from the new range of tio marine speed controllers. This is mainly due to all the features that are included, such as a built-in overload protection, 100% proportionality, fine throttle control in both directions and engine stall protection, a feature that cannot be underestimated when encountering aquatic plants.
