MiniKits are original Herpa models that collectors and model railway enthusiasts can build themselves. The models are designed to be easy to build and can be built without gluing. More advanced modelers can use the step-by-step construction to improve the appearance of the model and use the airbrush painting technique to build a perfect miniature of the real machine according to their preferences.

The kit contains unassembled parts made of color-coded plastic and transparent parts, building instructions, allowing the model to be built without the use of glue.
