The Buddy3D camera is equipped with high-quality optics and infrared illumination, which allows you to monitor your printer (or printers) even in complete darkness.

CREATING TIME-LAPSE VIDEOS
Simply set the shooting interval in the application between 5 and 300 seconds and the camera will save a series of individual photos to an SD card (not included). To create the final time-lapse video, it is currently necessary to perform a short edit in an external video editing application.

NONSTOP OPERATION
The camera offers 3 modes: Day, Night and Auto. Day and night modes speak for themselves, with auto mode automatically switching between them based on the lighting conditions in the room. The camera is designed to operate in temperatures up to 65°C, so it can be safely placed directly in the box.

If your printer is located in another room, you can stream video over your local network directly to the Prusa App. The camera’s firmware is updated wirelessly, so you always have the latest features.

EASY TO USE
To pair the camera with your printer, open Prusa Connect or Prusa App, select the printer you want to pair the camera with, and show the generated QR code to the camera to connect to your Wi-Fi. The camera attaches to the CORE One frame using magnets.
