Set of photo-etched applicator blades designed to create a realistic Zimmerit texture (During World War II, the German army applied a layer of material to its tanks to protect them from magnetic anti-tank mines). The teeth of each tool are spaced according to the original Zimmerit patterns used. Made of high-quality photo-etched steel.

The package contains 9 applicators with different tooth spacing, which allow you to create patterns used on various military vehicles.

Instructions for use:
To create Zimmerit, start by applying a thin layer of acrylic paste (A.MIG-2037) to the surface of the model. Let the surface dry for about 2 minutes to gain strength. Choose an applicator, attach it to the handle of a modeling knife and gently press it onto the fresh paste. Then drag the applicator across the surface in the appropriate direction depending on the pattern you want to replicate. You can lightly moisten the surface with Enamel Odourless Thinner (A.MIG-2019) to prevent sticking to the blade. Clean the applicator occasionally with water immediately after use. Allow the paste to dry completely before handling or painting the model. Wait at least 1 hour. Depending on the thickness of the layer, drying may take several hours.
