You need to purchase:
To control the model you will need at least a four-channel RC kit; ideally, use at least a five-channel RC kit, which will allow independent control of both aileron servos for easy adjustment of their deflection differentiation and possibly mixing as an aerodynamic brake. You can further make controlling the model more enjoyable by programming double or exponential deflections.
For propulsion you will need an 11.1 V LiPo battery with a capacity of 1000-1300 mAh and a load capacity of at least 20C. For You will need the appropriate type of charger for charging.

Although it retains the features of the original Alpha 1500 on the outside, the ALPHA 1500 V2 is a completely new model with different dimensions, a new wing profile and a much more sophisticated construction. New molds and advances in foam molding technology ensure that all parts are much finer and more precise. The two-piece wing is now bolted to the fuselage, just like the tail surfaces, making the model very compact. A class more powerful motor with a 30A controller and a 3S LiPo battery instead of the original two-cell provide enough power not only for normal motor glider flying, but also for aerobatic flying. The ALPHA 1500 V2 will "grow" with you and your piloting skills; it will offer an experienced pilot the opportunity to really go crazy!

ALPHA 1500V2 is an elegant motor glider with a large wing area with controllable ailerons, rudder and elevator, powered by a powerful brushless motor. The robust - yet very light - construction made of EPO foam guarantees excellent resistance to damage in a crash or at least very easy repairability if any damage occurs. The motor is powered by a lightweight LiPo battery with a large capacity and the model is controlled by an eight-channel 2.4 GHz FHSS RC set ensuring high immunity to interference. We simply made sure that your path to success is wide open, and your first steps are not complicated by worries of a "material nature".

The fuselage with the mounted C2217-1200 engine, KAVAN R-30B controller and rudder and elevator servos is molded from EPO foam. The cabin cover is removable with a magnetic closure. The two-piece wing is also molded from EPO, the ailerons are controlled by 2 servos mounted in the wing with short straight wire rods. The wing halves are connected by a 4 mm steel wire connector, secured by a plastic connecting plate and fastened to the fuselage with a pair of screws. The tail surfaces in the classic arrangement are molded from EPO, controlled by wire cables. They are fastened to the fuselage with a pair of screws. The 8.5x6" folding propeller (the diameter is given by a cone of a larger diameter with a longer beam) uses standard 8x6" blades. Cooling of the engine, controller and battery is assisted by additional cooling air inlets on the sides of the front part, the necessary outlet for heated air is at the bottom of the fuselage in the space under the wing.

Preparation for flight only includes screwing on the tail surfaces, connecting the wing halves and fixing them to the fuselage, connecting the receiver and connecting the drive battery. The ailerons, rudder, elevator and engine speed are controlled.

The ALPHA 1500 V2 is intended for beginners - as we always say - under the supervision of an experienced pilot, as well as for anyone who just wants to fly for fun. The flight characteristics are pleasant, straightforward and the model control is precise. The model will introduce you to full-fledged model control around all three axes; with proper coordinated control of the rudder, ailerons and elevator. You will "find" this experience at the latest right after you start flying with your first aerobatic model or (semi) model of any kind. By changing the ratio of the lever lengths on the servos and rudders, you can adjust the deflection sizes within a wide range. A beginner will start with small ones, safe even with excessive "steering"; an experienced pilot will set large ones, allowing even a little bit of basic aerobatics with and without the engine - thanks to the more powerful engine, the Alphe 1500 V2 makes rolls, barrel rolls, and dead-end turns very easy and good! The engine power is sufficient for a brisk climb, so you will only need a moment to hunt for thermals! The Alpha 1500 V2 reacts sensitively even to weak thermals, and thanks to precise control around all axes, it easily settles into a small-diameter climbing chimney.
