Multifunctional electronic unit for controlling RC tank, tracked, half-track or wheeled vehicle models.

Warning: To set up all Elmod FusionX functions, you need to download the Elmod App application from the manufacturer's website. It may happen that the application cannot be launched if you have a new PC with Windows 11 OS. In this case, open the Microsoft website https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=40784.
Click the Download button, a window with a selection of three files will open.
Select "vcredist_x86.exe". Make sure that you have selected exactly this file!
Download the file to your PC and click on its launch.
After this repair, your Elmod App will work correctly.

ElMod FusionX is the logical next development stage of the bestseller ElMod Fusion PRO. Smaller dimensions and more options, that's the new ElMod FusionX!

This MFU is mainly designed for 1:16 military vehicle models with tracked chassis. With the expansion module, models with steered wheels (half-tracks and wheeled vehicles with up to three steered axles) can also be controlled. It is therefore also suitable for RC heavy truck models.

FusionX combines various steering, lighting, weapon and sound functions in a compact board. With various expansion options, you do not have to compromise and choose the range of functions according to your needs.

Drive
ESC 2 × 15 A (2 × 30 A peak current), ESCs protected against short circuit and overload for one or two drive motors
Physics engine: realistic driving characteristics thanks to the simulation of mass inertia. The vehicle drives "like a big one". Acceleration, deceleration, maximum speed, gearshifts and many other characteristics are simulated.

Steering
Realistic steering by stopping/decelerating the tracks with extensive adjustment options.
With the optionally available FX Expander: Control of up to three individually configurable steering axes via servos with selectable speed-dependent steering travel.

Lighting
1 or 2 LEDs can be connected directly to all light channels.
All light connections are short-circuit proof. The LEDs will not be damaged if the polarity is accidentally reversed.
Dimmable front light can be switched off using the remote control

Servo functions

Supports all ElMod sound library/sample sets for extra realistic sound reproduction
Integrated sound unit plays several different sounds simultaneously
Drive sound types
Multiple starter sounds with distinction between cold and warm start
Multiple engine shutdown and start sounds, engine sounds when driving with simulated gear shifting, and distinction between full load, part load, engine brake and mechanical brake.
Turbocharger whistling
No steps between engine sounds
Speed-dependent driving sounds such as track or chassis squeaking
Selectable secondary sounds, ambient sounds, etc.
Speed-dependent turret rotation sound with selectable resolution between drive without and with engine assistance
Sound for main gun elevation

Up to 24 individual sounds that can be triggered via the radio system, such as horn, radio announcements, crew commands, music, etc.

Sounds for IR combat mode
Configurable volume level of certain noise types (e.g. increase MG volume and decrease engine volume) and configuration of multiple sound parameters
Volume adjustment using the included rotary potentiometer

All included sample sets are stored on a microSD memory card that can be read by a PC/laptop. They can be changed on the fly via the ElMod app.
